The "trick" to these basses is ,by tweaking the two pickup coil controls,you can easily get bass tones that range from that characteristic wiry thunder of the Stingray,or a surprisingly close approximation of a Ricky and, along with the tone control, to trim the edginess a bit,a P-bass tone as well.
Set up in our own shop to play superbly,of course,with nice & comfortable low action,that would put many higher priced versions to shame.
