Thanks to a solid cedar top, this instrument produces a warm tone that is particularly pronounced in the bass and midrange frequencies.

 A laminated mahogany body provides an almost attack and long sustain due to its ultra-thin low-gloss finish.

For comfortable playability, a flat mahogany neck with a soft "V" profile interacts with a narrow jatoba fingerboard for easy fingering at all 20 frets. 

A 43 mm wide nut and compensated saddle also ensure clean intonation throughout the 650 mm scale length. 

Decorated with a wooden soundhole rosette and the typical "AW" inlay on the headstock, the Ibanez Artwood AW65-LG Low Gloss Dreadnought is visually reduced to the essentials, so that its outstanding functionality is perfectly brought to the fore.
