Kyser Short Cut Capo

The Kyser Short-Cut Capo is a versatile accessory that allows you to create interesting tunings and explore new sounds on your guitar without having to retune the entire instrument. Here’s how to use it:

1. Placement:

   • Place the Kyser Short-Cut capo on the 2nd fret from the top of the guitar neck.
   • The capo should cover the 5th, 4th, and 3rd strings (A, D, and G strings).

2. DADGAD-Like Tuning:

   • By positioning the Short-Cut as described above, you’ll achieve a DADGAD-like tuning on your guitar.
   • The 6th, 2nd, and 1st strings (E, B, and high E strings) remain open, while the other strings are fretted by the capo.

3. Alternate Key:

   • To play in a different key, you can use a second capo closer to the headstock than the Kyser Short-Cut.
   • For example, place a capo covering all 6 strings on the 3rd fret, and then position the Kyser Short-Cut on the 5th fret to play in the key of G.
