The tone control on most tele style gtrs is pretty useless,with way too much bass and acting basically like an on/off switch.Besides shielding the control compartment in our own shop,we also take the time to re-voice the tone control,and we alter the control's taper so the tone control has a more gradual response. Our re-voiced tone control smooths out the edginess when you need a more subtle tone without any spikeyness,making this all the more musically useful,instead of just being a one-trick pony.
