Fernandes LE-2 60's ST re-issue Made In Japan.Circa 2003
Rumour has it that these were made in the same Japan factory as the "F" brand,except for the headstock,obviously.
These were part of a limited edition run at the time,imported into Canada in very small numbers ,then they quickly vanished from Canadian eyes.
Lawsuit ? Conspiracy ? Take a guess.........
A triple set of alnico single coil pickups with the usual control complement,except for the modern addition of a 5-way pkp switch,to easily get those out of phase sounds.
Basswood body,21 fret rosewood fingerboard on a maple, skunk striped ,"C" shaped neck with aged laquer finish
The "K' style tuners have open posts,just like the old ones and, surprisingly have very little slop, compared to the original ones from back in the day.
Stamped bridge saddles,like the old ones had.
Pristine condition.ZERO fret wear.NO buckle rash,nicks,dings,dents.etc.No worn laquer or flaking plating.
ZERO issues.Exceptional,like new condition.Ships with gigbag.
Checked & set up in our shop to play superbly,prior to listing.
