The SAV is a single coil pickup that has all the tone, clarity, and responsiveness guitar players demand with a vintage look enthusiasts will love. While similar to the SV, the SAV uses flat Alnico V pole pieces rather than traditional staggered pole pieces. This makes the SAV more balanced for newer instruments designed with a flatter fretboard radius.
The tone of the SAV is modeled after the early Strat™ pickups, giving players that familiar "quack" and punch.
